This is a course that primarily includes work with very reduced picture elements such as color fields and surfaces. With simplifications, we create new image field series, diptyches, triptyches, quartets etc. All in different chords of color, structures and variations of sizes.

Nature and landscape painting Classic landscapes and semi-abstract compositions

A course for you who have experience of watercolor painting and want to develop your nature / landscape painting and your watercolor technique.

The course contains exercises where we start from nature and the landscape. The painting is more or less imaginative and sometimes it leads to a purely abstract painting.

Four-day intensive course in model painting with music. The model course contains both pictorial and freer design exercises. Model is Rosa Hagevi. Daily reviews of the watercolors. Slideshows in the afternoon.

A lot of new things are promised! Anders Wallin started as a traditional watercolor artist but it became too sad and predictable, he wanted to move on. He started painting huge pictures, used the floor, large paint buckets, water hose and saw the possibilities in odd and reluctant materials such as tar and rag paper. He developed his collaboration with chance. He sets the material, the colors and the water in motion to curiously see what is happening. He usually works with a dozen paintings at the same time in an unpredictable painting process, but in the end it is always he who interrupts and decides that a picture is ready.
