Anders Wallin has his base in traditional and technically driven watercolor painting. Curiosity and a desire to constantly move on has made him look for new paths, new material combinations and new tools.

It does not matter if it results in large tactile paintings on blasted acrylic or digitally printed images on watercolor paper.

For Anders Wallin, it is instead about processes, about letting color pigments and solvents create expressions that the artist can only partially control.

Anders Wallin's knowledge, energy and great ability to inspire have also made him a much appreciated teacher in watercolor painting. The courses under its own auspices have become many and are located both in Sweden and other countries.

Clear, simple and completely without fear, Anders Wallin concentrates on the possibilities of color and shape to awaken a dormant vision. With obvious decorative sensitivity, he works out the unusual, the odd, the powerful in his serigraphs, collages, watercolors.
